Fun fact. If you teach theology or serve in a youth ministry capacity with teens, you will likely be encouraged, if not told directly, to avoid talking about things like judgment and hell and purgatory. "They're not ready for that," I've heard more than a few times. "We don't emphasize those sorts of things anymore" is another one. It's bogus, folks. Teens NEED to hear this stuff, and believe me - they're deeply interested! Besides, if we don't teach them the truth, someone else will teach them distortions of it or even downright lies. Never fear!
